Horse Update

This past weekend I spent two hours straight on a horse. I was in some real pain when I got off. After missing a week and being laid up, I was a bit out of sorts. But it was a productive two hours.

I worked on neck reigning with limited range of motion. (Shield in my reigning hand does not make it easy to move my hand around a lot. Lance in the other hand makes it that much worse.) Worked on carrying a lance (okay, it was a mop handle). Worked on presenting said mop handle. Then worked up to an actual lance. By the time the day was done, I was hitting the quintain with a lance at a jog.

Things are moving along well.
