I used to perform at Renaissance Faires around the country. Since 2001, the focus was on jousting, armored combat and stage combat. I was the fight director for the Connecticut Renaissance Faire in 2006 and was their fight captain for several years prior to that. I also have a real job. I am a network engineer. Nobody outside the industry really understands what network engineers do. I do not "work with computers". This doesn't mean I'm not good with computers, but it is not what I do professionally. Being a network engineer is like being a train engineer, my job is to keep it on the rails.
