Weekend Update... without Dennis Miller
Jul. 6th, 2004 03:27 pmWell, what is there to say? It's been a busy day at work and almost time to head home. This weekend at VTRF was a sucessful one for the faire, but more stress for ATP. It appears the faire had a break-in to a locked barn where we had stored some of our pole weapons and other equipment to cumbersome to bring back and forth each week. Naturally, things were stolen. Including, two of our pole weapons and
badgustav's EMT crash kit. The whole thing is on http://www.gbuonline.com/stolen.html.
As for our own shows, the joust just kicked major ass on Sunday. Saturday it was good, but Sunday was freakin awesome. We ran three passes instead of five passes and my own opinion, we should stick with three if we get three passes like that. Why only three? Heat. It was like... a billion degress out. I'm surprised I didn't get worse sunburn on my head. The GBU shows were, as usual, unpredictable. But they were well received and as always, a lot of fun. The more we do the shows, the sillier we get. Overall the weekend was good.
