I spy with my little eye...

Walking after lunch today, my cow-orkers and I saw a praying mantis. I haven't seen one since I lived in Maryland (some 25 years ago). We helped it across the street as we were afraid it would get run over by a car. First time we tried to move it along, it just kind of turned it's head and looked at us. So I moved a bottle I had in my hand behind it to encourage it along. It worked for a while and then one of the other guys grabbed a branch which it happily climbed on and we carried him across the street.

On other news, my rental is a Toyota Corolla. It's peppy. The insurance guy apparently came by today. No idea what he found. I guess at some point I'll find out what's going on. At least they're moving quickly.
