Horse stuff updates
Dec. 11th, 2005 08:55 amJoust Camp in the snow is amusing. Got pictures of Scott snow blowing his way up a hill, Mister Mister rolling and frolicking in the snow (horses ware weird) and Paladin and "New Horse" (his name is Double D but everyone keeps calling him "New Horse") meeting for the first time.
Yup, "New Horse" is on the property as of early last week (I think) and this was our first chance to get the team acclimated to him and him to us. He's a friendly horse who appears to have become taller since the first time we saw him. I think drafts may be able to cast illusions as to their height.
MrMr, of course, was quick to say, "I'm in charge!" and Double D appears to be non-confrontational, which is always good.
Looking for a new place to practice my riding during the week continues to go poorly :(
