Been a crazy couple of weeks. After spending a week in Canada for work, I arrived back in Boston to drive out to Wells college last weekend for
blue_moon_child's senior thesis and my first ever Master of Ceremonies gig. Spent the next day in Aurora, NY doing training and then back home. Worked for the week then back on the road to New Paltz for the Hudson Valley May Faire where Paladin made his jousting debut. We also had two new squires doing their first real faire and we broke in a new Master of the List. At the same time, we had another team in Ghent, NY doing a Celebration of Celts. It was a great weekend overall for Paragon Jousting. And a happy birthday on Sunday to
sabrinanineteen.
There was one downside and that was the personal loss which
xastalask had in his family. I won't dwell on it here but he was missed and everyone was thinking about him. Plus I had to do all the heavy lifting. ;)
Good and successful shows but sad we were not able to hang out with the folks on Team 2 despite only an hour's (so google maps claims) distance between the two shows.
