Here's the official numbers as of 05 AUG 06: 751 killed, 8,052 total non-mortal casualties (http://siadapp.dior.whs.mil/personnel/CASUALTY/OIF-Total.pdf). Statistically speaking, it sucks to be a Marine in a combat zone.

Note that PTSD and other mental-health issues are likely underreported, on top of being underdiagnosed and undertreated.
