Firstly, let me say that

clodappleleft are raising a great little girl.

Secondly, I am writing this in the airport. Yay free wireless.

Friday, while going through my own recovery from Thursday, I was watching Sammy while she was home sick with Pink Eye so

clodappleleft could go to a meeting with his boss.

First, Sammy was most concerned with whether or not the game she was playing was too loud and if it was bothering me. I assured her it wasn't.

Around 4pm or so, the bug asked me is she could have a snack. I said, "What would daddy say?"

The response, a very honest and dejected, "No." Then a few seconds later she said, "But he said while he's gone you're the boss."

So I checked in with him and he happened to walk in through the door a few minutes later. Yes, she could have a snack.

Was a good story. Figured I'd share. And public so the parents can link to this if they'd like.

Honest and polite.

(None of the airport bars or resteraunts are open except for Starbucks.)
