scullerywench and I are staying at a bed and breakfast on the Dingle Peninsula. It's a quaint little place with a TV in the room. We're on the top floor. It's just enough room for the two of us and has it's own bathroom and shower. I had this fear of all the B&Bs being dives or just kind of eh. Only because of my experience with them in the past. This place was great. "Russell's B&B" I think is the name.
So
scullerywench met up with me just after 9 AM GMT at the bus station in Limerick. She grabbed a cup of coffee and then we caught the bus to Dingle. Required a stop in Tralee for a couple of hours. We got lunch. I was spending a lot of time falling asleep. And toting around four bags between us was wearing on both of us.
One of the towns we went through was
Rathkeale. This is only significant to a small group of friends and I don't think any of them read my journal.
We got to Dingle and wandered around for a while. The B&B wouldn't have anyone there until 4 PM GMT. We found an Internet cafe where we checked e-mail and such. Then we headed over to the B&B where we got our room.
scullerywench finally made me sleep so I'm a bit more refreshed now. I got up and showered.
scullerywench is in the shower now and when she gets out, we're off to dinner.
The ride up to Dingle from Tralee was really nice, while I was awake. Everything was very very green. Lovely mountains and all. We're going horseback riding tomorrow and it should be fun. We're off to dinner tonight and probably hit a pub.
