Saw this on Rotten.com. One of the commenters made the wry point that too much water can kill you, but smoking too much marijuana cannot, and guess which one is illegal? ;-)

Because something can kill you is not the only reason to make it illegal. Sometimes it's the overall effect of something. Sometimes it's how it makes you a danger to others. And sometimes, it's because the lumber and nylon companies aren't making enough money.
